Happy Valentine's Day

It is Valentine's Day again. I had a decent day. My husband and I both had the day off together and school was back in since the snow. So we had the whole morning/afternoon alone together. My husband gave me a really pretty card and a dozen roses. They are a pretty pink color, lighter pink almost white at the bottoms with the color getting darker as it goes up to the tips of the petals. I gave him a suggestive/humor card and a book titled "101 Ways to Spoil Your Wife." I also bought the matching book for myself, mostly so he wouldn't be offended.

Since we had the day off together we went out to breakfast. Then we went to a nice restaurant together for lunch because we wouldn't be alone for dinner. We went to Red Lobster for lunch. For dinner we went out to dinner as a family.

We spent some time at the slots this afternoon. We only had $20 to play with. We won $60, total $80. But we used it to play for a while longer. When we left we had doubled out money though and each of us had $20. The powerball is up to $300 million so we visited various stores to buy tickets. We have 15 tickets total. When we were at one shop a guy there pulled out a wad of money and bought $50 worth. When I mentioned that to a lady at another store she said a man had come there and bought $300 worth. That is a lot. But I guess you have to spend money to make money. I already have many plans for my money when I win it.
